... that I've fought the good fight and fended off temptation.
I wish I could tell you that.
But life's no fairy tale and I signed into facebook. I didn't realize how difficult this would be.

celos
The quality in that video isn't great, but I like seeing them live - I love the white suits. Here's a vid with much better audio quality, and a neat site with (roughly) translated lyrics.
The song is so hauntingly beautiful... Speaking with Leandro about poetry and such he brought up an interesting point: The most beautiful poetry is poetry about loss and heartbreak.
Maybe when we are at our lowest, most vulnerable point we let down our defenses and let out our true feelings. Maybe when reading someone else's work, we find beauty in feeling or knowing that someone else is feeling like we did or do, or solace in knowing we're not all alone.
Still, I like to think that there's plenty of beautiful poetry about love, and other emotions, that isn't sad. Maybe we don't notice its beauty so much when we're already happy about something - or someone.
Just a thought.

pump it up
I found this video while innocently looking for vids to show a friend the game pump it up, the Korean equivalent of DDR.
This "workout" video has roughly the same cast as the people from the original call on me music video by Eric Prydz. I'm using the term workout very loosely here, because I'm sure most of the people buying this video will not be following along for the aerobic workout... at least not in the intended way...
But if aerobics classes were attended by people like those in the vid, I'd actually be tempted to go.
Every day.
All the time.

status
David should remember to make his sangria less strong.
Or remember to drink it slower when he hasn't had anything to eat in the previous 6 hours.
I don't usually post, speak, or think in the 3rd person, but I've become used to it because of facebook's status messages... I have to do something about these withdrawal symptoms.
